Main Performance + Focus Stage + Artist Pohang + Traveling Concert
Managed by the Pohang Cultural Foundation, the Pohang Culture and Arts Center is a venue capable of staging music, dance, theater, opera and more. To nurture the cultural appreciation and sensibility of Pohang residents, it presents high-quality curated and regular productions along with visiting musicals and performances for children. The center comprises a large theater, a small theater, exhibition rooms and an outdoor stage. The large theater seats more than 900 and has a central lift stage for music, dance and theater. The small theater, equipped with a piano and stage sound and video systems, seats about 260. Other facilities include rehearsal rooms for gugak, orchestra and choir, a cafe and meeting rooms. Its education programs include the Hyeongsangang Osprey Squad, an artist capacity-building project and design community workshops.
