장소 소개
1979년 세계민속음악제에서 금상을 받은 바 있는 씻김굿을 비롯하여 강강술래, 남도들노래, 다시래기 등 국가무형문화재 4종과 북놀이, 만가, 진도홍주 등의 무형문화유산 3종 등 수많은 무형의 자원이 옛모습 그대로 전승 보전되어 오고 있다.우리 고유의 전통민속을 대변함으로써 우리 문화를 새롭게 인식하고자 향토문화회관에서 매주 토요일이면 인간문화재와 전수생들의 민속공연이 펼쳐진다.
