Amir Park was established as a park within Dongsam Innovation City in late 1990, created by reclaiming dredged soil from the development of Busan Port’s North Harbor. It was born in July 2012 thanks to the continued interest and efforts of the “Dongsam Innovation District Development Countermeasures Committee,” a group of resident representatives hoping for regional development. Located next to the National Maritime Museum in Yeongdo-gu, Amir Park offers a wide lawn where visitors can enjoy the open sea view, and in summer, it becomes a place where you can walk along a spectacular hydrangea-lined path in full bloom. The park, which is 600 meters long and 38 meters wide, is a healing space visited by many citizens.
