Commemorating the 350th anniversary of Gyeomjae Jeong Seon’s birth, the 10th Gyeomjae Culture and Arts Festival will be held on May 9 at the Gyeomjae Jeong Seon Art Museum and Gungsan Neighborhood Park, Gangseo-gu’s signature spring festival. This year, to commemorate the 350th anniversary of Gyeomjae Jeong Seon’s birth, a variety of programs will be organized centered around the newly renovated Gyeomjae Jeong Seon Art Museum, including the 21st National Gyeomjae Drawing Contest, cultural and artistic performances, special and outdoor exhibitions, traditional games, and hands-on activities. In particular, the festival adds to the enjoyment with a drawing contest open to children and teenagers, as well as performances and hands-on experiences, photo zones, SNS events, and food areas that families can enjoy together. The Gyeomjae Culture and Arts Festival honors Gyeomjae’s artistic spirit and is Gangseo-gu’s flagship cultural and arts festival, where people of all ages—from children to seniors—can experience and enjoy culture and the arts up close amid the charm of spring.
