The Soesokkak Festival, held over two days from September 20 to September 21 in the Soesokkak area, blessed with pristine natural scenery, is Hyodon-dong’s flagship festival and will mark its 21st year this year. Various hands-on programs, including making Teu models, will be offered, and through on-site participation events, visitors can also enjoy free experiences with Teu, kayaking, and jet boating. At this festival, a Youth Culture and Rock Festival will be held, providing local youth with opportunities to freely express their dreams and talents. In addition to cultural performances featuring local residents, celebratory performances by invited singers Moon Hee-kyung and South Carnival will also be presented, and on the night of the festival’s opening day, September 20, fireworks will light up the night sky over Hahyo Port, decorating it in splendid colors.
