Starting in 1962 as the first Jeju Arts Festival, it was renamed the Halla Cultural Festival in 1965 and later the Tamna Cultural Festival in 2002, and was designated as a preliminary candidate for the 2024–2025 Cultural Tourism Festival. It was selected as a traditional cultural festival jointly produced by tourists and residents, centered on Jeju’s history, culture, and arts, and fostering Jeju’s unique folk arts as a core program.
장소 소개
It is an outdoor performance venue where you can enjoy a variety of stage performances while taking in the refreshing scent of the sea and the beautiful scenery of Jeju’s beaches. As the first outdoor venue with a performance hall structure, it is a place capable of hosting high-quality performances. With a three-story performance building and about 2,500 open-air seats, it is the nation’s only seaside performance venue and the country’s first outdoor performance hall. There is a sea and harbor nearby with views, and next to the venue is a plaza where you can meet Jeju residents enjoying a variety of leisure activities. (Source: Jeju Culture and Tourism Website)
