The end of this year and the beginning of the new year are marked at the Seongsan Sunrise Festival, where visitors close out the year and welcome the new year, and where they visit Seongsan Ilchulbong, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, to pray for the fulfillment of their wishes and for all their endeavors to succeed.
