The Uiwang Baegun Lake Festival is a major local cultural festival held every autumn against the backdrop of Baegun Lake, which boasts beautiful natural scenery. This festival is beloved not only by the citizens of Uiwang but also by visitors from outside, and it features a variety of programs that blend nature, art, and culture. In particular, this year’s festival will take place in a space where visitors can feel closer to nature, on the newly renovated lawn plaza of Baegun Lake Park. A variety of attractions that people of all ages can enjoy include a famous singer’s music performance set against the backdrop of Baegun Lake, free and paid hands-on programs, busking, various events, and a food market. It is also establishing itself as a festival in which local artists and residents participate together, promoting communication and harmony within the community.
